Ingenium provides support for establishing product production including the definition and development of manufacturing processes, manufacturing instructions, production test procedures and test equipment. Ingenium can also support the customer in the ground up specification, design and build of complete production facilities. These skills are also used to evaluate existing production facilities and processes in order to establish and implement continuous improvement and realize reductions in cost, inventory and waste.
Processes & Procedures
- Ingenium hosts Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DfMA) workshops early in the design cycle to help meet production cost and capital targets
- We develop manufacturing work instructions for customers, streamlining the manufacturing process
- Acceptance test procedures are developed in coordination with test operators to maximize throughput and test yield
Facilities, Assembly Cells, & Working Capital
Our engineers have led customer efforts to modernize and improve operations with:
- New facility design and implementation
- Facility moves/consolidation
- Inventory reduction initiatives
- Process mapping / PFMEA
- Assembly tooling design and build
Production Cost Reduction & Sustaining Engineering
- Product cost reduction: we have extensive experience helping customers reduce product cost through sourcing initiatives and design improvements
